APPLICATION
Applications must be completed online and supporting documents must be uploaded online by Friday, August 9, 2024.
Completed applications submitted after this deadline will be considered, but preference will be given to qualified applicants who have met the deadline. Please see below.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Required With Your Application
1) Personal Statement (with a Maximum of 1000 Words) you must address all of the following.
a) Background
b) Your or your family’s rural experience
c) State your goals (educational and/or career goals)
d) Obstacle(s) overcome
e) How will this scholarship help you with your educational goals?
2) One Professional Recommendation Letter
a) You may upload a letter or use the recommendation form (Download Here)
i) Recommendation should come from supervisors, advisors, professional mentors, coach, or someone that can objectively attest to your academic and professional accomplishments
ii) Recommendation should never come from family, friends, significant others or any other personal relationships
iii) Previous CAMP scholars cannot use a recommendation letter from the current CAMP staff
3) Printout of your UNM Financial Aid Award Overview
To find the award overview follow the steps:
a) Login to my.unm.edu and select LoboWeb.
b) On the top left hand corner of the screen select the Financial Aid tab.
c) From the Financial Aid Menu, Select Award Info Menu
d) From the Award Info Menu, Select Award Package for Aid Year
e) Select Aid Year
f) Under Award Package –Current Year, Select the Award Overview Tab
g) Here is an example of how your award overview should look like. Print out your award overview page.
